LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30th, 1984) is an American pro basketball player playing for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The nickname is King James he is widely considered to be among the top players ever to play and is frequently compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the best basketball player of all time. James has won two Olympic golds and four NBA titles. James had more points than any other player during the playoffs. He has the second highest number of career points, and ranks seventh among career assists. James is part of the NBA All-Stars, 18 All-NBA Teams and five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. In 2004, he was named the NBA Rookie of the Year, the player quickly became one of the league's premier athletes, winning an NBA MVP award in 2010 and 2009. James did not win a award with Cleveland, and he was released to become"a "free agent" in the year 2010. This decision was made by the television show The Decision.
